How Darmé picks products

Darmé makes no money from the products it suggests. No brand pays to appear, there are no affiliate links, and Darmé earns nothing when you buy a product. Our only income is the subscription.

Your own products come first

When the Coach builds your routine, it starts with the products you already own. It suggests a new product only when a step of your routine is missing, and it says why. You can always keep what you have.

How a product gets into Darmé's catalogue

1. The product is recorded from the brand's official page: the full ingredient list in the order printed, how to use it, and the size.
2. A person checks the record against those official sources, and the sources are kept with the record.
3. Checking and publishing are separate steps. A product stays hidden until its record has been checked.
4. Prices are dated observations and are checked again later. Formulas can differ by region or batch, so the label on the product you buy always comes first.

How the Coach chooses

• It matches what a product is for, and what is in it, to your readings, your answers and your skin type.
• It chooses gentler options if you told us your skin reacts to products.
• It avoids strong active ingredients if you use a prescribed skin treatment.
• It checks your shelf for combinations that don't go well together.
• When a step is missing, it shows up to three options, so you can pick one you can find.

Each catalogue product links to its official source. Some also link to a retailer's page so you can check the current US price. These are plain links: Darmé earns nothing from them.

If this ever changes

If Darmé ever accepts money from a brand or adds affiliate links, we will say so on this page and in the app before it happens, and we will stop saying "No sponsors".
